Dr. Daniel Schwartz obtained his BSc from McGill University and his medical degree from the University of British Columbia. He completed his Internal Medicine and Nephrology training at the University of Toronto, where he also worked as a staff nephrologist and clinical instructor. He is currently the Program Medical Director for the Fraser Health Renal Program, medical lead of the Fraser Health home peritoneal program and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He has a keen interest in knowledge translation at the point of care and the intersection of information technology with clinical medicine. His research interests focus on quality improvement and novel therapeutics in renal disease.
