Dr. David Shu completed his undergraduate medicine and Internal Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia. He went on to train in endocrinology and metabolism at Dalhousie university in Halifax. He works as a staff endocrinologist at Royal Columbian hospital. He is currently the regional division head of endocrinology for the Fraser Health Authority. He has a strong interest in medical education previously serving as the undergraduate director of the medicine clinical teaching unit for 10 years. He has been involved in a number of clinical trials for type 1 and 2 diabetes , perimenopausal symptoms and vaccines.
